Rick Blangiardi announces his bid for re-election as mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.

The Mayor's campaign donations during the second half of last year were "more than the combined total received by the five council members up for reelection in 2024."

Signing the FTA's amended Full Funding Grant Agreement paves the way for the long-delayed release of $744 million in federal funds for the project.

The City has officially assumed ownership of the three-story building, which will be redeveloped for affordable housing in Waikīkī.

"The Blangiardi city administration is on the right track with a plan to 'think big and fully activate this transit-oriented community.'"
